Marion Mousse is the penname of the Marseille-based (male) artist Pierrick Pailharet. Born in Chabeuil, he graduated in Art History in 1998. He released his first comics through Éditions Treize Étrange, starting with the philosophical and experimental 'Phinéas', that the right-handed artist drew with his left hand, in 2001. He then made comic adaptations of the Falkner novel 'Moonfleet' (2004) and Théophile Gautier's 'Fracasse' (in three books, 2004-2005). For 6 Pieds Sous Terre, he subsequently made the sci-fi parody 'From Outer Space' in 2006. Then came the comics trilogy based on Mary Shelley's 'Frankenstein' for Delcourt in 2007 and 2008.
