Alvar Mayor, son of Pizarro's cartographer, is one of the first descendants of Spaniards born in South America. He knew the routes that criss-crossed this continent perfectly and respected the culture of the indigenous peoples. To earn a living, he guides adventurers who have been won over by gold fever and are searching for legendary cities.
