Poupée d'ivoire - original comic art

Poupée d'ivoire is a comic book series, created by Franz in 1987 for the magazine Vécu. The series was then published in nine albums by Glénat from 1988 to 2005. It tells the story of a young, well-educated Chinese girl who falls in love with the son of a barbarian chief. This love story is hailed as an "ode to difference" and a "sumptuous epic".
