Pierre Le Goff began his professional comics career at the S.F.P.I. in 1949. For this publisher, he cooperated on magazines like Zorro, Clan, Héros Magazine, Zorro Magazine and Red Sheriff. He often signed his work for these periodicals Pierre Brisson. From 1954 Le Goff also worked for other periodicals, like Spirou (several 'Belles Histoires de l'Oncle Paul'), Caméra 34 (an episode of 'Bob Mallard'), Pistolin (the series 'Garnerin' with Jean-Michel Charlier) and Avant-Garde (illustrations for Ray Bradbury stories).
