Jürg published several small comic books with some friends under the Hécatombes label. His work was noted by publisher Emmanuel Proust in 2000, who assigned him to adapt Jean-Bernard Pouy's novel 'À L'Ombre des Étoiles'. Later on, he cooperated with writer Daniel Picouly to adapt Picouly's novel 'Tête de Nègre' to comics. In 2004, he made 'Les Couzes' in cooperation with Baloo, also published by Emmanuel Proust Editions.
