Tiburce Oger is a French artist and writer of mainly fantasy comics. Born in Garenne-Colombes. he studied at the School of Fine Arts in Angoulême for three years. He had his apprenticeship at an animation studio, where he worked on productions like the 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' and 'Denver the Last Dinosaur' in the early 1990s. His made his debut as a comic artist with the first comic album of the heroic fantasy series 'Gorn', that was published by Vents d'Ouest between 1992 and 1999, and from 2004 to 2008. He also made a spin-off series with artist Christian Paty starring the side-character 'Damoiselle Gorge' in 1997 and 1998.
In 1998, he started a collaboration with Denis-Pierre Filippi at the publishing house Delcourt, resulting in the children's fairytale series 'Orull, le souffleur de nuages' (four book between 1998 and 2004). In the period 2000-2002, he wrote and drew the fantasy western trilogy 'La Piste des Ombres' for Vents d'Ouest. 'La Forêt' was another fantasy series, that he created with writer Vincent Perez for Casterman between 2007 and 2010. This was followed by 'Les Chevaliers d'Émeraude', a series in cooperation with Anne Robillard, also for Casterman (since 2011).
