About Philippe Vuillemin
Philippe Vuillemin, or simply Vuillemin, is a French comic strip artist and actor. Philippe Vuillemin entered the world of comic strips in 1977, inventing short stories in L'Écho des savanes, Hara-Kiri and Charlie Mensuel. His distinctive and original style did not follow the rules of the ninth art. In contrast to the clear lines of Hergé and his heirs, Vuillemin draws with a bold, messy line, like Jean-Marc Reiser or Jack Davis, which he himself calls "ligne crade".
