Planche parue le 2 avril 1950. Très belle composition nocturne avec en case 1 un gamin lisant le "Spirit"!
Un lion dans un zoo, une scène d'orage, un "kid" affolé, une course poursuite, une voiture de police, le Spirit et l'inspecteur, et une dernière case pleine de suspense et d'angoisse, quoi de plus "spirituel" !

William Erwin Eisner, known as Will Eisner, is an American comic book writer. He was the creator of the Spirit and of the concept of the "graphic novel" and its first applications in the United States, as well as a theorist and editorial director. He is a major figure in 20th-century comics and one of its greatest authors.
