Swamp Thing #24 p. 05

Finally joined the Bissette/Totleben club with a page from the end of Moore's first arc. Swamp Thing and the Floronic Man meet face to face for the first time. Wonderfully suspenseful page.

I read this run much later in life and that was probably better for me as there is no way it could have had as much of a literary and visual impact on me at a younger age. The experience of reading "Anatomy Lesson" for the first time and immediately being able to see the emotional power with which it was written and drawn as well as the gamechanging impact it would clearly go on to make is tough to match.
