Description
Two panels/half a daily from 1928, with the first close-up of princess Jada. Crane cut up much of his art, likely to keep examples for assistants, and I suspect Jada is the reason these panels survived. If you're into Roy Crane like I am, this is a historical piece.

Royston Campbell Crane, who signed his work Roy Crane, was an American cartoonist who created the comic strip characters Wash Tubbs, Captain Easy and Buz Sawyer.
