About Cyril Pedrosa
After several unfinished studies, Cyril Pedrosa enrolled at the animation department of the Gobelins School. From 1996 to 1998 he worked for Disney on films like the 'Hunchback of the Notre Dame' and 'Hercules'. He created his first comic series with writer David Chauvel, called 'Ring Circus', in 1998. The created four books for publisher Delcourt until 2004, when they started their second series, 'Shaolin Moussaka'. Their third children's series was 'Brigade Fantôme', of which two books were published in 2008 and 2009.
Pedrosa had his first effort as an allround author with 'Les Coeurs Solitaires', a comic published in the Expresso collection of Dupuis in 2006. This was followed by 'Trois Ombres' in Delcourt's Shampooing collection in the following year, that won the Essentiels d'Angoulême prize at the 2008 Angoulême festival.
His comic series 'Auto Bio' was published in Fluide Glacial and collected in book format by the publisher of the same name. His graphic novel 'Portugal' was published in Dupuis' Aire Libre collection in 2011.
