Through a selection of more than two hundred artworks, the Bois-du-Luc Museum of Mining and Sustainable Development invites you, via the Anima exhibition, to explore the work of Belgian illustrator René Hausman.

Hausman built a luxuriant universe, blending naturalist observation with his own personal interpretations of the natural world. It was in the magazine Spirou that his bestiary found its ideal showcase: he went on to host a weekly wildlife column there for ten years.

The Henry de Monfreid space in Port Leucate offers an immersive journey into the world of Corto Maltese, the iconic comic book character created by Hugo Pratt.

Originally presented at the ‘Rencontres du 9e Art’ in Aix-en-Provence, the exhibition features a visual tour highlighted by more than 35 large-format panels by Juan Díaz Canales and Rubén Pellejero.

The Cité Internationale de la Bande Dessinée et de l’Image pays tribute to Claire Bretécher (1940–2020) with a retrospective that traces the author’s career and explores the key aspects of her work.
