Original artwork from MARCH: BOOK ONE (written by Congressman John Lewis & Andrew Aydin, drawn by Nate Powell; 2013, Top Shelf), page 73, signed by Nate Powell. This page depicts a teenage John Lewis mailing a letter to Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. after meeting about a campaign to integrate nearby Troy College, having decided he would honor his parents' request and return to seminary school in Nashville instead-- that decision still leading him down the lifelong path of committed nonviolence under the guidance of Jim Lawson, and soon enough back into partnership with Dr. King.
