The graphic novel Krimi tells a (fictional) background story of Fritz Lang´ s famous movie M: Lang helps the fictional Kommissar Lohmann - one of the main characters in M and Lang´ s next movie The Testament of Doctor Mabuse - investigate a (real) serial killer in Weimar Germany in the late 1920s.
This particular page is a flashback to Metropolis - an earlier, and even more famous, Lang movie. It shows a scene from early in the movie: a tower siren signaling shift change for the poor workers in the city´ s underground factories.

A propos de Alex W. Inker
Diplômé en 2006 de l’Institut Saint-Luc de Bruxelles en Bande dessinée, titulaire d’un Master 2 de cinéma, Alex W. Inker a une double casquette, idéale pour la Série B chez Sarbacane : il dessine et encre au pinceau, tout en enseignant les liens entre cinéma et BD à l’université de Lille 3. Il organise aussi des ateliers découverte de la BD dans les écoles, collèges et bibliothèques de sa région, l’Avesnois, et prépare une BD adulte pour Sarbacane.
