The Ripper relaxing the day of the first murder with at visit to Sotheby´ s and a nice meal at home. Note the ink and wash technique. It creates quite a different atmosphere to the rest of the story, and it is used to highlight the differences in lifestyles and social standings between Sir William Gull and his victims.

Eddie Campbell est un auteur de bande dessinée écossais résidant en Australie. Propulsé sur le devant de la scène par From Hell, réalisé avec Alan Moore de 1989 à 1996, Campbell est aussi le créateur en 1982 d’Alec, une des premières bandes dessinées autobiographiques.
