About Marco Nizzoli

Marco Nizzoli studied at the European Institute of Design in Milan. He has been drawing comics since he was in high school. His professional career started in 1991, when he created the baroque science fiction series 'Fondazione Babele' with Massimo Semerano for magazine Cyborg. In 1994 he turned to erotic comics with 'Simbaby' and 'Raymond Capp' for the publishing house Phoenix, followed by 'Il Vizioso Mondo di Keto', 'Il Distinto Fleev' and 'La Bella Estate' for Trentini two years later. In 1995 Nizzoli produced several episodes of the fantasy series 'E.S.P'. He has collaborated with Sergio Bonelli Editore since 1997 on serials like 'Napoleone', and in 2002 he started a collaboration with Les Humanoïdes Associés in France to create the series 'Le Jour des Magiciens' with scriptwriter Michelangelo La Neve. A second series for Les Humanoïdes followed in 2006, 'Les Enfants du crépuscule' with Massimo Semerano. He is the artist of Jodorowsky's 'Le Monde d'Alef-Thau' since 2008. Text (c) Lambiek
