Selon "Artcollection" et son commentaire concernant la suite du strip qui est dans la collection de "Astrum": il s'agit d'un strip de "Coquin le petit cocker" qui a été publié dans "La Semaine de Suzette", 43è année, n°17 (27 mars 1952) et le n°18 (3 avril 1952). His round, dynamic style was influenced by Walt Disney. As well as being an outstanding draughtsman, Calvo is also recognised in the world of comics as the master of the young Albert Uderzo.
