Among the new Blake and Mortimer series, my absolute favorites are the two albums by Ted Benoit. This is page 23 from the second album, L´ étrange rendez-vous. It takes place in the US in the 1950s, and, among other things, gave the artist an opportunity to express his love for old American cinemas and movies.

Thierry Benoit, also known as Ted Benoit, is a French cartoonist and scriptwriter, best known for his Ray Banana series, which contributed to the revival of the line in the 1970s, and his acclaimed album in the Blake and Mortimer series.
