Olivier TaDuc, a Frenchman with Vietnamese origins, cancelled his studies in medicine to pursue an artistic career. He met scenario-writer Dieter, with whom he created some short stories for the magazine Triolo ('La Forêt de Nouhaud'). He began a studios with Thierry Robin and Pierre-Yves Gabrion. He continued his collaboration with Dieter at the publishing house Glénat with the historical saga 'Sark'.
