Born in Milan, Stefano Turconi attended the Brera Art Academy and the Castello Sforzesco School of Art in Milan, before becoming a pupil of Alessandro Barbucci Alessandro Barbucci at the Disney Academy. He began his professional career in the second half of the 1990s with contributions to Walt Disney Italia publications. He has been drawing mainly 'Duck' stories for Topolino since 1997, but he has also worked for the titles Paperinik New Adventures, PK Pikappa, Topomistery and W.I.T.C.H.
