Ray Banana is a comic strip character created by Frenchman Ted Benoit that appeared in the monthly magazine L'Écho des Savanes in 1977.
Ray Banana is an artificial, groomed American who solves various puzzles in the near and indistinct future. Emblematic character of Benoit, Ray Banana is one of the main incarnations of the revival of the ligne claire in the late 1970s.
