Founded in 2020, Philippe Labaune Gallery has set itself a course: to highlight graphic design through high-level artists whose common point is to explore new territories and to decompartmentalize the borders separating various modes of expression: illustration, painting, comic strips and animation. We are passionate and we support and highlights authors who through their narrative and graphic requirements are major players in narrative art and illustration.
Philippe Labaune Gallery is one of the few, if not the only gallery in the United States, specializing solely in high-end narrative art and illustration. All the artists represented by Philippe Labaune Gallery are or have been major initiators. From Lorenzo Mattotti, Nicolas de Crécy, Georges Bess, Miles Hyman, or Francois Schuiten; each in their own way left a strong mark on the international graphic scene. Since its beginning, the gallery has also turned to a new generation of authors such as Mathieu Bablet.
