Péral original comic art

Alain Perwez (better known as Péral) is a Belgian comic book artist, animator and colorist. Born in Ath, he studied Fine Arts in Liège, and also attended classes at the École Supérieure des Arts Saint-Luc in the same city. He commenced working in the field of comics as a colorist through Olivier Saive. He then settled in Luxembourg for three years, where he worked on animation projects like 'Crobs' for France 3. He returned to comics upon his return in Belgium, at first as an assistant to Daniel Kox on the series 'L'Agent 212' in Spirou.
