During the month of April, 1965, one of the other kids in the road where I lived (in Liverpool, England) was showing me his copy of the VALIANT comic-book. Three adventure serials, within this anthology title, really stood out for me. The Kelly's Eye vampire story . . . the Steel Claw story set in an old seemingly-haunted castle . . . and Mytek the Mighty, about a huge rampaging robotic ape (similar in appearance to King Kong) . In recent years, I've been fortunate enough to be able to locate and purchase a number of the original artworks from these three serials. Out of the 48 pages that comprised the Kelly's Eye vampire storyline, I now have 32 pages, including episode 3 ( my earliest recollection of this specific adventure) and episode 4 (my overall favourite installment). I'd be interested in hearing from anyone out there owning pages from this Kelly's Eye adventure, who might be prepared to sell or trade (expectations within reason, please) . . . only 16 more pages to find . . .
