Francesco Veròla is an Italian painter, who was active as a comic book artist under the name Frank Verola in the 1960s and 1970s. His artwork first popped up in 'Demoniak' and 'Fantax/Fantasm' by Editrice Cofedit in the mid 1960s. He then joined the art teams of 'Kriminal' and 'Satanik' in succession of Magnus for Editoriale Corno. His most notable work are the stories starring inspector Daniel, of which he drew nearly all issues for Corno from 1975. At the end of the 1970s, Verola was drawing erotic comics for publications like Mafia by Edifumetto.
