Antonio Fraguas de Pablos, who signed with Forges, was born in Madrid and began his career as a technician with the Spanish television. He stayed with TVE until 1973, when he focused on a fulltime career on cartooning. He had published his first cartoons in 1964, when he started contributing to the papers Pueblo and Arriba and the weekly La Codorniz. He became a cartoonist for Informaciones in 1967, for which he created his scientific section 'Los Forgendros' in 1971.
