In Japan, Osamu Tezuka (1928-1989) is nicknamed Manga no kamisama, "The God Manga". He is considered the inventor of modern manga. Having produced over 170,000 manga pages, Tezuka has yet never been the subject of a real exhibition in Europe. This exceptional retrospective held in Angoulême will be a great occasion to discover many mythical original artworks from the master.
