Capitaine Perdu is a comic strip series by Jacques Terpant :
1763. Following the treaty that ended the Seven Years' War, the King of France ceded America to the English. But contrary to what Voltaire thought, it was not just a few acres of snow, but the equivalent of today's Canada and around twenty states in the United States. While the few French soldiers abandoned their possessions to the redcoats, the Indians rose up.
