Born in Pisa, Italy, Becky Cloonan is an American comic book artist who began her career as part of the Meathaus collective and publishing minicomics. She has worked with Brian Wood on 'Channel Zero: Jennie One' (2003) and the 12-issue comic series 'Demo' (2004). Tokyopop released her first solo graphic novel 'East Coast Rising - Volume 1' in 2006. She has worked with writer Steven T. Seagle on the DC/Vertigo series 'American Virgin'.
