Ramón Fernando Bachs was born in Barcelona. After completing the Joso School of Comics, he had his first comics published in Camaleón ('Manticore'), Laberinto ('Yinn') and Dude ('Castor y Polux'). In 1999, he began a collaboration with the American publisher Dark Horse. There, he illustrated several 'Star Wars' mini-series, such as 'Star Wars: Jango Fett - Open Seasons', 'Star Wars: Jedi vs. Sith', 'Star Wars: Qui-Gon and Obi-Wan - Last Stand on Ord Mantell' and 'Star Wars: Starfighter - Crossbones'. He also did the 'Joker/Mask' crossover and a comic adaptation of 'Shrek'.
