François Duprat got his art education in Tournai in Belgium, following courses by Antonio Cossu. He published his first work in the fanzine Porophore. His first comic book was 'Colombine ou les Lunes de Petite Vertu' at the publishing house Charette. At Petit à Petit, he created the comic books 'Mon Cousin dans la Mort' (2001) and the series 'Léo Cassebonbons' (from 2003). From 2003, he writes the series 'L'Année du Dragon' for Vanyda at Carabas.
