About Bosse

Bosse, born Serge Bosmans, is a Belgian cartoonist and scriptwriter. He is mainly known for the Tamara and Kogaratsu series. This series, about a Japanese samurai, has appeared in the pages of the Spirou weekly since 1983. However, in the early stages of his career, Bosse illustrated his own stories. He started out with several 'Cartes Blanches' in Spirou in 1973 and 1974, followed by numerous illustrations and the 'Jeux du professeur Travels' game pages. He then teamed up with Christian Darasse to create such series as 'Zowie' and 'Sin Glass', doing art and scenarios together. In the 1980s, Bosse began to focus more and more on the writing. When he created 'Kogaratsu' with Michetz in 1983, he continued his collaboration with Darasse in Tintin with several short stories ('Donjons et Dragons'). For that same magazine, he produced 'Hazel et Hogan' with artist Norma in 1986. Text (c) Lambiek
