About TaDuc

Olivier TaDuc, a Frenchman with Vietnamese origins, cancelled his studies in medicine to pursue an artistic career. He met scenario-writer Dieter, with whom he created some short stories for the magazine Triolo ('La Forêt de Nouhaud'). He began a studios with Thierry Robin and Pierre-Yves Gabrion. He continued his collaboration with Dieter at the publishing house Glénat with the historical saga 'Sark'. He then took over the graphical part of the series 'Les Voyages de Takuan' from Emiliano Simeoni at Delcourt. He drew the three final episodes with text by Serge Le Tendre between 1994 and 1996. TaDuc and Le Tendre then began the western Chinaman, about a chinese man in America. This series, in which martial arts and classic wild west are combined, appeared at Les Humanoïdes Associés from 1997. The series was continued at Dupuis from 2001.
