It's a good thing he's in a tropical climate-because an amnesiac Iceman is down to just his skivvies and boots as he races after Karl Lykos, who absorbs his mutant energies to trigger a transformation into the savage Sauron. Meanwhile, Magneto soars overhead on this frantic and action-packed page, rendered in ink over graphite on Marvel Comics Bristol board with an image area of 9.75" x 15.5". All text is paste-up, and the board shows light handling wear. In Excellent condition.

John Byrne est un auteur de comics qui commença comme dessinateur, avant de devenir aussi scénariste. l connaît un grand succès dès ses débuts dans les années 1970 avec la série Uncanny X-Men puis Fantastic Four dans les années 1980. C'est en 1986 qu'il devient incontournable avec sa version très controversée de Superman.
