About Carlos Pacheco

Carlos Pacheco is one of the Spanish artists that found their way to the American comics market in the 1990s. He began his career doing covers for the Spanish editions of Marvel titles at Planeta-DeAgostini between 1986 and 1992. For Marvel US, he has worked on titles like 'X-Men', 'Fantastic 4', the maxiserie 'Avengers Forever' and the graphic novel 'JLA/JSA: Virtue and Vice'. He eventually came up with his own title, 'Arrowsmith', together with writer Kurt Busiek. In addition to his US work, he remains active in Spain as one of the founders of Dolmen Editorial. In 2003, he signed up with DC to become a regular artist on the Joseph Loeb scripted 'Superman/Batman' title. Text (c) Lambiek
