About Paolo Grella

Paolo Grella was born in Germany, and lives and works in Rome, Italy. Having obtained his orthodontist diploma, he enrolled at the International Comic strip school in Rome, where he took drawing lessons for three years. He had an internship at an animation institute in Cuba, and made his debut as a comic artist by collaborating with scriptwriter Roberto Dal Pra'. Together, they made the one-shot 'L'Ombre du Temps' (Éditions Robert Laffont, 2007) and the series 'Le Manuscrit Interdit' (Delcourt, 2009-2011). In 2011 he started working with the French writer Frank Giroud on the trilogy 'Galkiddek', of which the first installment was published by Delcourt in 2013.
