Description

Xi'an Coy Manh (Karma) is in Madripoor to help Patch (Wolverine) and Tyger Tiger with her uncle, General Coy, as she is confronted by her uncle's assassin, Bloodsport. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 10" x 15.25". Toning, loose and discolored text paste-up with some damaged and missing, missing indicia at the bottom, trimmed top edge, pinholes and tape on the top and bottom edges, ink smearing on the bottom of Panel 3, whiteout touch-ups, with creasing, residue staining, smudging, and edge/handling wear; otherwise, in Very Good condition.

About John Buscema

John Buscema, born Giovanni Natale Buscema, was an American comic-book artist and one of the mainstays of Marvel Comics during its 1960s and 1970s ascendancy into an industry leader and its subsequent expansion to a major pop culture conglomerate. His younger brother Sal Buscema is also a comic-book artist. Buscema is best known for his run on the series The Avengers and The Silver Surfer, and for over 200 stories featuring the sword and sorcery hero Conan the Barbarian.
