Comment

Finally I got my own Spirit published page. It's been a long way for this moment to come and the result is this beauty. The 1st panel is one of the nicest views of The Spirit's trademark window from Wildwood Cemetery,and the second panel is an excellent example if Will's "feathering technique" (the shading brushstrokes). Then there are the last 4 panels which are 100% pure Eisner's storytelling.

He was the creator of the Spirit and of the concept of the "graphic novel" and its first applications in the United States, as well as a theorist and editorial director. He is a major figure in 20th-century comics and one of its greatest authors.
