Dan Reed was born in Massachusetts. He has drawn for several comics companies, while also working seriously as a painter. Among his credits are 'Blue Beetle', 'Captain Atom' (Charlton), 'House of Mystery' (UK), 'The Hulk', 'Captain America', 'The Punisher' and 'Alpha Flight' (Marvel). He left for France after a series of personal problems in 1988, and travelled through Wester Europe. He landed semi-regular work on Marvel UK's 'Transformers' title. He also self published a series called 'New World Order', which ran for eight issues, and did another book called 'Retro-Dead'. Text (c) Lambiek
