Beautiful and extremely rare 1948 Pogo pre-syndication/tryout daily for the New York Star, featuring Pogo, Owl & Albert. Numbered by Kelly as no. 20, so this shows that it was the 20th strip of the tryout dailies, but it ultimately saw publication January 7th 1949 as the 82nd daily.
One of the oldest/earliest/most important Pogo dailies/artwork in existence...
