About Benoit Blary

Benoît Blary began his career making illustrations for RPG's and storyboards for short animated films. He has also made illustrations for broadcasts about historical subjects. Like many artists from Rémois, Blary joined Jean-David Morvan's Atelier 510 TTC. He teamed up with writer Hervé Loiselet for his first comic book, the historical war comic '20 Ans de Guerre' (Lombard, 2010). He participated in Jean-David Morvan's war anthology 'Vies tranchées' in the same year. Blary and Loiselet continued their collaboration for the historical series 'Sigurd et Vigdis, that is published by Lombard since 2013. Blary additionally paints the series 'Virginia', that is written by Séverine Gauthier for Casterman from 2013. Text (c) Lambiek
