Dans la collection de medard
Description
11.5''X17'' pencils then inked onto FA4 Fabriano drawing paper.
Am not at all sure of the fumetti magazine or book where the story was originally published : if you happen to have precise information, please tell me.
Chicago, in the thirties. The jazz band 'the Madmen' is refusing the protection of a local mafia boss, Salvatore Lafisca...
Story page 5 : At club 47 closing, a refusal that can turn dangerous... and a venturesome actress.
Previous owner of these pages, whom seemingly did acquire them all as a lot in a Drouot auction three years before, alas decided to spread 'em through one by one resales ; I unfortunately took notice of these sellings only after half of the pages were gone. Please note that, quite logically, I'm subsequently on the look for missing ones and particularly pp. 6 and 7.
