Like the rest of the world, I am a big time admirer of the great Arthur Adams. Really love his covers and commissions of course. However, it was the sequential artwork which first held a spot in my heart and continues to. The "Ultimate X" series was a re-imaged mutant world that featured in my opinion some of the finest interior pages of Arthur's career (outside of his Jonni Future epic). We are treated to full finished pencils since these were "digitally inked" to achieve the final printed pages.

I was able to add this page into my collection in the past few months. Published in Ultimate X #4 (page 22) May 2011. There was almost a year between the release of issue #3 and #4 in this series.

A beautiful Jean Grey image in the final panel steals the show on this page. Looking defiant and lovely as only Adams can do. The large image of Quicksilver makes a dramatic entrance to the scene.
