About Sébastien Göethals

Sébastien Goethals is a French comic artist, animator and scriptwriter. He is specialized in the detective genre since 1999, when he began 'Tower', his first comic series scripted by Ange and published by Vents d'Ouest. He subsequently drew the first 'Angeline' book by scriptwriters Adeline Blondieu and Éric Summer for Soleil Productions in 2004. Goethals continued to work in the detective genre with scriptwriter Damien Marie for Bamboo, creating such comics as 'Ceci est mon corps' (2009), 'Need - Ceci est mon sang' (2010) and 'Dans mes veines' (2011). He drew the 10th installment in Frank Giroud's series 'Destins' (Glénat, 2011) and started a new series called 'Zodiaque' with Éric Corbeyran and Guy Delcourt at Delcourt in 2012. Goethals has additionally done the coloring of the humorous detective series 'Spoon & White' by Simon Léturgie and worked on animation projects through Arles Animation, Seahorse and BKN. His film credits include the feature films 'Kong' and the series 'Lost Continent', 'Stargate' and 'Les Copains de la forêt'. Text (c) Lambiek
