About Éric

After studying architecture and furniture design at the School of Arts and Trades in Brussels, Frédéric Delzant pursued a career in illustration and comics. Starting in 1973, he was present in Tintin magazine. Under the artist name Éric, he made series like 'Wen' and 'Rorika' with the writer Jacques Stoquart. In 1977, he began 'Tetfol', a series about a child raised by wolves, for which he also wrote the scripts. After seven long stories in this series, Éric produced the 'Maître des Brumes' trilogy with writer Jean Dufaux in Circus magazine. In addition, he made the albums 'Coup d'Oueil' and 'Le Verrou' with scripts by Dupa at Dargaud in 1984 and 1987. In 1990, he made 'Les Perdus d'Empire' with Franz at Lombard. A year later, he took on the artwork of one episodes in the 'Dampierre' series by Yves Swolfs at Glénat. Texte (c) Lambiek
