Description

A wonderful daily from Caniff highlighting his amazing detail and inking, his unmistakable style evident in his character's strong features. Ink over graphite on Bristol board with an image area of 20" x 6". Minor toning, syndicate paste-up, with light staining, marginal pinholes, edge and handling wear. In Very Good condition.

Milton Arthur Paul Caniff is an American comic strip artist best known for his comic strips Terry and the Pirates and Steve Canyon. He is considered a master of black and white. He was the fourth author to be added to the Will Eisner Award Hall of Fame in 1988.
