About Greg Larocque

American comic book artist Greg LaRocque started out as an assistant teacher for The Professional Institute of Art in Baltimore, Maryland, when he was only 17 years old. He then worked in advertising for a while, before he began his career in comics in New York in the early 1980s. Since then, he has worked for both Marvel and DC at the same time. He has illustrated Marvel's 'Web of Spider-Man', 'Thor', ''The Avengers' and 'Power Man and Iron Fist'. He had a long run on DC's 'Legion of Super-Heroes' with Karen Paul Levitz and Karen Berger. He had a notable five year run on 'The Flash' with William Messner-Loebs from 1988, in which he redesigned the character's costume. He formed Exiled Studios in the mid 1990s and launched his creator-owned series 'The Exiled' and 'Cry Baby'. Larocque has also worked as a graphic designer on licensed products featuring SpongeBob, Looney Tunes and Batman. Text (c) Lambiek
