About Tadeusz Baranowski

Tadeusz Baranowski studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, and started contributing to Swiat Mlodych in 1973. In 1976, his comic 'Orient Men' appeared in magazine Relax. His work caught the eye of Grzegorz Rosinski, who invited to come over to Belgium to color 'Thorgal' in 1984. Baranowski did not like to be forced to draw in another's style, and created his own. His 'Orient Men' was later published in Swiat Komiksu. Apart from comics, Baranowski was a painter and illustrator of children's books.
