The sultry Sheetaya begs for mercy for her lover

Comment

The highly skilled veteran artist Pablo Marcos illustrated the sultry Sheeteya begging for mercy for her barbaric lover from the reptilian overlord Manu-Kaleem on this page from Savage Sword of Conan #120 (1986). Marcos work looks stunning in black and white, which made him an ideal choice to illustrate Marvel's long-running black and white magazine.

About Pablo Marcos

Pablo Marcos Ortega, known professionally as Pablo Marcos (born March 31, 1937 in Laran, Chincha Alta, Peru) is a comic book artist and commercial illustrator best known as one of his home country's leading cartoonists and for his work on such popular American comics characters as Batman and Conan the Barbarian, particularly during the 1970s. His signature character was Marvel Comics' the Zombie, for which Marcos drew all but one story in the black-and-white horror-comics magazine Tales of the Zombie (1973–1975).
