About Claude Pelet
Claude Pelet was born in the south of France. He attended the School of Fine Arts in Nîmes for two years in the early 1980s but is mainly a self-taught artist. He has worked in the fields of advertising and communication until 2004, when he made his first comics for the local publisher Aldacom: 'Le Gard dans l'Histoire' and 'L'Aude dans l'Histoire'.
He subsequently contributed to a couple of anthologies and worked with Laurent Vicomte on a new 'Sasmira' story in 2006 (published by Glénat in 2011). He teamed up Jean-Blaise Djian to create the series 'Le Destin des Algo-Bérang' at Glénat in 2012. He also participated in the art of the final installment in Makyo's series 'La Balade au Bout du Monde'. Claude Pelet is also a storyboard artist with the 3D animation studio Dwarfs Labs.
